Spicewood

Spicewood is an unincorporated community, located in Travis and Burnet Counties. The Pedernales River is the County line. Within Spicewood are large acreage properties, upscale communities and neighborhoods, as well as modest and midrange communities. Travis County communities are served by Lake Travis ISD and Burnet County is served by Marble Falls ISD.


Among the Travis County communities in Spicewood are West Cypress Hills, Colonia Serendipity, Tierra Vista, The Reserve, Hidden Hills, Angel Bay, Inverness, Siesta Shores. There beautiful, year-round homes and many second homes, because Spicewood is a center for so many outdoor activities.  Additionally, Spicewood is home to ranches,  farms and other large acreage properties.

The Pedernales River, Bee Creek, and the south side of Lake Travis are all part of Spicewood. Also, Spicewood is rich with spring-fed creeks, some lined with towering cypress trees. Among these are Fall Creek, Lick Creek, Little Cypress Creek, Sycamore Creek, Double Horn Creek and Alligator Creek, and the renowned Krause Springs. Pace Bend Park is a 1369 acre park with limestone cliffs and shallow beaches, and camp sites.
